Guest guest
Nina, Good idea about the manufacturer. I've also recently been a bit afraid that one morning I will wake up with a nosebleed. Not looking forward to that day. Your Drs and mine must be talking, because mine also said I wouldn't die from it and it seemed like " more of a nuisance " than anything and I thought, well, YEAH, if I'm getting one almost every darn day! And the fact that I have been getting what I thought were nosebleeds but now I " m thinking are my sinuses bleeding after I give myself the shots. I have the same problem with prednisone. My doctor assures me I will never bleed to death from a nosebleed. :-) He does check periodically to make sure I'm not becoming anemic (I might be bleeding somewhere else). I wake up with nosebleeds often. > My rheumy also mentioned to me what you mention: that if the meds are stopped, most patients have the symptoms return within 5-8 years. In the past when I had a question about a specific drug, I've gotten good responses when I emailed or phoned the manufacturer. I wish I could remember the name of the test they ran to make sure I wasn't losing blood elsewhere. Something like hematocrit. Nina
