Guest guest
Hi Casey, You just exactly stated how my osteoarthritis started 4 years ago. It didn't even show up on an x-ray at this stage. I was forever trying to figure out how to stretch out the muscles and which shoes to wear that didn't cause me pain. Each year got progressively worse until this past year I could not walk without a cane and was in horrible pain 24 hours a day. My advice, but I'll bet you aren't ready for it yet. Is to get resurfaced NOW while you are strong and still can walk, muscles haven't atrophied yet, and you will bounce back like a little red rubber ball. If I were you, I'd go for the most experienced surgeon I could find. I would be booking my reservations with the master- surgeon Dr. De Smet. I wish the best of luck to you and hope you don't suffer as long as I did. Lynda > All surface hippies! > > I suffer from a severely deformed hip prone to inflammation but not > from OA or ON. Guest guest
-- THANK YOU! Before my hip totally crashed, I had been having pain in the pubic bone area for years. I tried to get help over the years to address the pain, but at the very least to get someone to identify what muscle, tendon, ligament was the offender. NO ONE (OS's, chiropracters, osteopaths) had a clue. I always thought that it was a ligament. I think it was an early warning, and I unfortunately did not know how to heed it's call.
