Guest guest
Tonia, About ten years ago I went to the doctor complaining of stiffness and weakness in my legs. After a thorough exam the doctor asked how long I had the rough skin on my knees and elbows. I had no idea. My doctor then noticed pitting on the finger and toe nails. A week later I saw a rhuematologist for confirmation of the diagnosis. I hope this helps. Joe [ ] ???? Hello, I'm new to this group. I was wondering if you could give me some information on how ya'll were diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. Where do you have it at, and what exactly happens to you. The doctors are not for sure what is wrong with me, and I've been doing some research and this is what I'm thinking about diagnosing myself on, but need some answers. If you can help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated. I'm really struggling and want to know what is wrong with me. thank you, Tonia M. Guest guest
Hopefully it is not a flare - there are a lot of things going around and it could be the flu, strep, something like that. But you are right - something about these guys at that age, even if they hurt the answer will often be " no " even though you can see the signs. I hope that he gets better soon, and it turns out to be something mild, Michele (18, spondy) ???? I haven't posted in a longtime seems because is in remission,he was having a bad one last night tho an still doesn't feel too well. These kids we seem to hover over them sometimes, thinking omg is it coming back again? was having stomach problems, vomiting, pain,an a raging headache. I kept asking him if any of his joints were hurting he kept telling me " no " sometimes I wonder if they do hurt an he doesn't tell me him being almost 17 now. He had that grey-ash look about him he's laying down an seems to be very tired so I'm chalking it up as a flare. All I know is if it keeps up I will get him into the peds then well go from there keep us in your prayers that the jra is not come back ....take care Lynn, 17,jra,fibro,,,remission,migraines,ibs,Meg 21 ra --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Â Dear Crystal, 1. You may wish to visit this site: http://www.alamo. edu/sac/nursing/ math/peds10. html 2. I seriously doubt that it will be on the exam. ihave NEVERhad any of my live students tell me or complain that this was on the exam. I say complain as I do not teach this. So if they took the exam andit was on it you can bet I would have had some complaints that we do not teach it. However that being said IF anyone out there 'lurking' has actually seen these types of questions on the PTCB exam please let us know. No where on the PTCB list of what you should know and study have I ever seen this. Howeve one should probably know what a " buretrol " is. Hope this helps, Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS Founder/Owner > > just wondering if the ptcb exam includes " Managing time when working with a buretrol " (pediatric dosages), also does it include any titration calculations? > Â > thanks > > > > >
Guest guest
natalie, are you talking about time released? Melatonin makes me wake up agitated in the middle of the night. I took 1mg and I weigh 120, too. I gave it at 9:30PM, and it is 11:00PM with no sign of getting tired. I think someone mentioned that they may have giving the regular melatonin first and to get their child really tired, followed by the time released. Do I have this right? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
