That's one thing I've learned is that all these behaviors are normal human behaviors, just taken to extreme/excess/etc. But thinking of it like a bell curve is helpful, especially since I'm such a visual person lol. Being able to " see " it in my head will help me to remember things, you know? Your statement about " My nada was too proud of her expensive vacuum and furnishings to batter them. (Unlike children, that heal, vacuums have to be repaired or replaced. " sends chills down my spine. It's so disturbingly sad, but unfortunately very true when it comes to many of our nadas.
