Guest guest Posted August 3, 2011 Report Share Posted August 3, 2011 Just wanted to add that I have become more able to gauge the amount I probably need to eat instead of filling my plate as I used to do. I don't think of this as portion 'control' though. I still can default to clean plate type eating at dinner since meals are usually 'visit' time for me and dear hubby so I find myself not paying attention to eating as mindfully as would best suit IE for me. Oh well, I'm always happy when I can and do stop when I know I am satisfied. That's a nice change just eating until my plate is empty. At least now I don't feel I've either failed my IE or had to trick myself into eating 'less'.
