Guest guest
Incigul, It's funny that I can recognize mouth hunger now. I tell myself that the food will be so much more pleasurable and so much better tasting if I can wait until I feel stomach hunger. That usually works, but I try not to get too punitive about it. I figure I will still need to eat from mouth hunger from time to time. This is GREAT.I am going to try this on those occasions i am tempted to eat before i'm hungry. not too often these days, but they do still happen. best, abby I know that 'cranky and unable to make decisions' feeling - for me its when my blood sugar has dropped BELOW what it needs to be and I get light headed and unable to keep focused. Yep - by this time I have well gone 'past' hunger that I ought to have felt but hadn't - probably due to old suppression habits. Re acquainting with the sensations of my own hunger has been and continues to be a challenge for me. I'm better at that now, but certainly not 100%, especially when I get immersed in an activity. Keep up the good work - it can and will improve :-) Katcha IEing since March 2007 > . . . at some point I get really cranky and am unable to make decisions, and the only thing to do is to eat, but I may or may not have passed through a " feeling hungry " stage before I got there.... > > Tilley
