Guest guest
Just want to share that while on Feingold, we learned that although watermelon IS stage one approved, my daughter STILL has a reaction to it. I mean, really bad. Like, Gabi eat watermelon, Gabi start crying about something nutso in 15 mins. I can set my watch by it. LOL By nutso I mean, we are at lunch, she eats watermelon, 15 mins later she is saying " but I hate wearing this color, why did you make me wear this color?!!! " and no one is discussing colors or clothes. Just out of the blue with the hate-the-color-I-am-wearing kinda stuff. And not just saying it but complete psychological break-down, in tears, loud, bawling kind of thing. LOL I laugh because it's watermelon. It's allowed. Gaaah! Yes! Watermelon is great (it's low ox and feingold approved!)...I do that when the veggie get overpowering. I used to use grapes. Grapes make everything taste good...but not Feingold Approved..so it had to go. (So sad!!) Great ideas!! laura > > > So I finally got my juicer, Breville something. Guest guest
Awesome thanks! I felt kinda bad adding water since it tastes so yummy straight. I haven't tried the watermelong but addign that to carrots sounds great! Is kale sweeter than spinach? We have been using spinach so far and I tried swiss chard too that worked pretty well since it is sweet already. To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Wed, January 12, 2011 9:45:47 AMSubject: Re: Juicing-- G. No, not anymore. At the beginning, Jimmy (and Maddie) both balked at the juicer drink. (refused...however, the good news was, I was pregnant with Sam so he got it!!)I would give them orange or apple juice (or whatever their favorite regular crappy pasteurized fruit juice they liked) and put a tablespoon of juicer drink until they balked (if they balked, then I added more of their 'reg' juice) -- it took about a month (or 1 and 1'2 months of doing this) until it was a full on juicer drink. and no, if he loves it, don't cut it with water. laura> >> >> >Â > >>So I finally got my juicer, Breville something.
