I also find myself pretty hungry in the mornings now too, though I pretty much have always had a small breakfast. On workdays Lunch is my biggest meal now and it's still only half or less of what it used to be. I still findmyself getting hungry again at 3:30-4pm and I have the remaining portion of my lunch then. Dinner is a whole lot smaller than it ever was before and I rarely find myself hungry again after dinner. I am not nearly as attracted to sweets as I once was but I do occassionally eat something for dessert with dinner and I just make sure I serve myself less dinner so I will have room for a couple bites of something sweet. But Sweets just don't call to me the way they did and I can't even beleive I'm saying that.

Jane I find that I do eat more at breakfast time then I used to and eat a light dinner on days that I mercerize I tend to feel more hungry at lunch but I think dinner is the meal where I eat less so to sum up I do feel hungrier at breakfast then I used to but the meal where I eat the most food is lunch although since I am more unaware of my signals now since I have been doing IE for a while I am eating less food then I used to during the day and I rarely eat a snack where as before IE I used to snack between meals all the time. Generally speaking, yes I find I am now more hungrier in the morning than I had been pre-IE. My guess is that its due to not being so stuffed the day before as well as my awareness of hunger vs. habit. I still enjoy a cup or 2 of coffee (with sugar) when I first wake up, but by the time the second cup is gone, I'm hungry for real.
