Guest guest
Dr. McCandless touches on this on one paper I read by her. And she suspects the same. The 12 is there, but the body isn't able to uptake and utilize it correctly. Kinda like a diabetic and sugar. The sugar's there but the body doesn't know how to use it so it just sits there. It sounds like a reasonable explaination but who knows with these kids? Anything's possible. There seems to be very little literature on this - I have read somewhere that it might be the oxidized form of B12 hence unusable hence the high reading but not sure if that is true.
