Guest guest
I haven't given in to the notion of throwing out my M & M's even though I have secretly tried to swear off them from time-to-time in spite of believing that would only make matters worse. I noticed today that my stash is getting kind of low and I will go out and buy another big bag. I'm eating them less often and with less of a sense of urgency; but I do eat them even though I wish I wouldn't.... One of my long-term battles has been with the belief that I'm out of control or can't trust myself around certain foods - and so I'm keeping these stinking M & M's stocked until I can finally lay that to rest. Sometimes they're great and I eat only some; sometimes they're not so great and I eat a bunch anyway because I'm rebelling. But I will not let myself become afaid of them or move them to forbidden. I do not want to live my life afraid of food - or afraid of myself around food. Good luck with those pistachios. > >>>> > > > >>>> > > How do mothers > and others handle being with those, including their children, who may not be > hungry when mom is hungry?
