Guest guest
Here are a couple good sites:http://www.cloverleaffarmherbs.com/http://www.ageless.co.za/herbal-encyclopedia.htmAnd here's one on supplements:http://www.florahealth.com/flora/home/USA/HealthInformation/Encyclopedias/_Main.htmI'll turn the links into a blog post so you can find it again if you need to. And I'll build on it as I find more. There's one that I know of that's a computer program that I've heard is fabulous - I'll see if I can find it to add to this list. This mom was so good - she could look up *any* supp and give you an answer on something in seconds because of this program. Guest guest
I don't have a specific study or set of papers but there are several Mito papers and Dr Rossignol's current paper in Nature has references to pretty much all the Mito studies that have been done so far as it relates to ASD or other neurodev disorders. Some of them go into Fatty acid metabolism - mostly long chain & medium chain.THe virus part is tricky - there are several separate studies that tie viruses to Mito & oxidative stress but I have not seen anything connect the two sets just yet - maybe it is out there.Searching for HIV related neuro issues amazingingly results in lot of things that look & feel like ASD.To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Fri, January 28, 2011 10:25:06 PMSubject: Re: Suggestions for next week's blog post? Lol! Might I refer you to the response I gave to Gayle? Each of those things would have to be broken down to individual posts, I'm not a scientist! Lol! But I'll be honest with you, I'm not opposed to guest blogs if anyone has a topic they feel comfortable enough to talk about and if you understand fatty acid metabolism and how they both relate to each other and neurodevelopment, I'm certainly not opposed to letting you go to town. :)But I will certainly keep the list so I can break it up into bits and post on it. Cheryl ~http://www.gryffins-tail.blogspot.com/~~@Gryffins_Tail~ I have the following topics not necessarily for this week but in general for discussionFatty acid metabolism, viruses & influence on NeurodevelopmentNeurofeedback (low energy feedback) as a therapeutic option for ADHD, Autism & other dev issuesHigh viral titers & their significance esp Measles family like Rubella, Rubeola & what can be done.KayTo: mb12 valtrex Sent: Fri, January 28, 2011 9:39:24 AMSubject: Suggestions for next week's blog post? Guest guest
Can you cite the title and/or identifying journal numbers for the issue of Nature where the article is published? I'm entirely interested in this as is suspecting a mito issue with my son but if he were to meet this kid outside of PITAND episode, he'd never look twice at him. Everything my son goes through starts with a virus, we're just fortunate to date that he eventually remisses back to baseline which is NT. Many thanks. To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sun, January 30, 2011 1:16:38 PMSubject: Re: Suggestions for next week's blog post?
