Guest guest
I'm on a wacky diet which is frequently used by people with kidney stones. If you have ever had stones, you'll get why I'm motivated to follow it. I have another problem that makes me more prone to stones. I can't eat a lot of veggies and no whole grains or nuts. Plus I'm eating intuitively, so I've had more " less healthy " fare. This week I got my hair cut. I am mostly grey and go every four weeks. My hair is cut every other time. My stylist insisted we must have missed because she had to cut TWO inches off. Two. Whole. Inches. In two months! Even if that were 12 weeks instead of eight, that's a lot. She said, " you must eat a really healthy diet! " she was so impressed she kept telling people and showing them. I chuckled to myself. I guess I must be intuiting a healthy diet, even if I'm not trying, even with these restrictions. Pretty cool how it works like that! I suspect a lot of it is that I'm not starving myself!! Yay! My first big payoff for eating intuitively. Well, second. The first was I stopped feeling like a crazy person. Patti
Guest guest
Wow Patti - with that type of hair growth you could give Crystal Gayle a run for her money - lol. I have my hair cut about every 5-6 weeks and usually have about 3/4 " cut off. So 1 " in a month is exceptional for sure. I'm doubly happy for you avoiding kidney stones as my dear hubby has had 2 over the years so I know its not a walk in the park to say the least. His main challenge is drinking enough liquids (especially water). Happy IE eating! Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > I'm on a wacky diet which is frequently used by people with kidney stones. Guest guest
You wrote, " The first was I stopped feeling like a crazy person. " Yes, even if I never lose a pound, not feeling completely insane about eating is worth the price of admission!
