Guest guest
Are you using VSL#3? Very open question - DS has lately become extremely rountine-oriented. He never used to have this problem. Do you think any supplements or Rx can cause this? I tend to think that something is contributing to this behavior 'coz he never used to be like this. This doesn't seem like his natural self. -- Toni------Mind like a steel trap...Rusty and illegal in 37 states.
Guest guest
Routine oriented means it could be PANDAS from exposure to strep. GO to www.pandasnetwork.org to learn the symptoms and treatments for PANDAS which gets worse with exposure to strep. Guest guest
We had done strep test - but that was a while ago. It had come negative at that time. > > > > Subject: Routine-oriented > To: mb12 valtrex > Date: Monday, February 14, 2011, 6:20 PM > > > Â > > > > Very open question - > > DS has lately become extremely rountine-oriented. Guest guest
Can this be a side effect of anti-viral therapy? What I mean is, the virus goes down with anti-viral, but yeast and parasites show up once the viruses are gone. That's why we keep using anti-fungals. It seems like his clotridia is up and I'm going to ask the doctor for a Flagyl prescription today. Could the rountineness also be caused by something similar? > > > > Subject: Routine-oriented > To: mb12 valtrex > Date: Monday, February 14, 2011, 6:20 PM > > > Â > > > > Very open question - > > DS has lately become extremely rountine-oriented. Guest guest
We had done these tests - although a while ago. I don't think he had a problem at that time - I'll go back and check again today. Thanks for your inputs. I went to that site and from very initial reading he seems to be showing those signs. He had one incident of motor tics for the first time in his life. He's been having anxiety issues that are OCD like - need for constant attention. I have an appointment with my DAN today. And I'll ask him if he recommends an anti-biotic? I think he anyways needs Flagyl for his clotridia. Whether that'll address the strep or not I don't know. > > > > > > From: Arpita <ghosharpita@> > > Subject: Routine-oriented > > To: mb12 valtrex > > Date: Monday, February 14, 2011, 6:20 PM > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > Very open question - > > > > DS has lately become extremely rountine-oriented. Guest guest
The only positive strep test my son had was on a comprehensive stool analysis. All other tests are negative, yet he has PANDAS. > > > > > > From: Arpita <ghosharpita@> > > Subject: Routine-oriented > > To: mb12 valtrex > > Date: Monday, February 14, 2011, 6:20 PM > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > Very open question - > > > > DS has lately become extremely rountine-oriented. Guest guest
Any recommendations on this? Is the bacteria showing up because the viruses have been addressed by anti-viral? > > > > > > From: Arpita <ghosharpita@> > > Subject: Routine-oriented > > To: mb12 valtrex > > Date: Monday, February 14, 2011, 6:20 PM > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > Very open question - > > > > DS has lately become extremely rountine-oriented. Guest guest
He does get obsessed with objects but I don't think its OCD. I asked his therapist last week and she mentioned that although DS wants something, he's ok if you refuse it. She mentioned that OCD kids just can't do without it. That it why it is called obsessive compulsive disorder. > > Do you think it is OCD behavior? > > > > Pamela > > > > From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ] On > Behalf Of Arpita > Sent: Monday, February 14, 2011 6:21 PM > To: mb12 valtrex > Subject: Routine-oriented > > > > > > Very open question - > > DS has lately become extremely rountine-oriented.
