Guest guest
Amy, I sometimes have nightmares featuring my nada too. Saturday was my birthday. My sister came up to visit for a few days and we made plans to go to Longwood Gardens that day. My sister has not had any contact with our nada since she finished college and joined the army several years ago. Nada doesn't know how to reach her and keeps asking me why my sister won't talk to her. A few days before I dreamed that nada found out about our plans and showed up at the gardens looking for us so that she could talk to my sister. We kept trying to hide from her by going to a different part of the gardens and people kept coming up to me and telling me that my mother was looking for me, not understanding why I wouldn't want to immediately go find her. Needless to say, I did not get a good night's rest that night. Guest guest
my mom has become very nice over the past few years. so my dreams are always confusing because the scary parts are what are ingrained in my heart. when she rejects me and stops talking to me in my dreams...it's exactly how I used to feel when she would really pull her love from me for months and years at a time. amy Re: Panic dream Amy & Katrina - I have nada dreams too. But what's odd, is usually in my dream she's nice... and it always creeps me out (even in my dream!!) I find myself thinking " who is this lady? This is not my mother. " I think it's coming from that part of me who still wants a normal mother, or, comes from the times she would " fake " being nice to put on a front for outsiders. But usually she was very cold when she was being fake. I hate having dreams about her, especially when she's nice! Because she is just NOT nice. Makes me wonder if I'm crazy. lol.
