Guest guest
I had both in both hands. Maybe RA makes us more apt to get carpal tunnel? Cuz I know of people who have carpal tunnel that don't have RA. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maggie http://www.4HockeyFans.com http://www.4FloridaHockey.com MSN: Maggies1429 AOL: Maggies85 wrote: Is there a link between RA and Carpel Tunnel? I know some here have spoken of it before. I sometimes get pain and burning in my fingers in the middle of the night. The pain wakes me up or if I am up I cannot sleep. The Rheumy says its Carpel Tunnel and I need to get braces. I wondered how many people here have both? Eliz
Guest guest
I think carpal tunnel is most clearly lack of nutrition to the joints because every person I have recommended the Limu Plus to has gotten rid of the pains from carpal tunnel. Just my belief, from experience. Guest guest
I had carpal tunnel long before I got RA and had surgery to correct it. I've now had RA for about 3-1/2 years and no return of the carpal tunnel. I think RA can cause inflammation that causes swelling and a restriction of the space available for the nerves and that can lead to carpal tunnel. Of course there are many other causes. God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2005 1:08 PM Subject: RA and Carpel Tunnel Is there a link between RA and Carpel Tunnel? Guest guest
> Is there a link between RA and Carpel Tunnel? The inflammation from RA has definitely affected my tendons. When I feel the Carpel Tunnel symptoms come on, I wear the drugstore-purchased wrist brace for a day or so, to give my wrist a rest. It helps a lot; the symptoms subside.
