I had both in both hands. Maybe RA makes us

more apt to get carpal tunnel? Cuz I know of people who have carpal

tunnel that don't have RA.

Is there a link between RA and Carpel Tunnel? I know some here have spoken of it before. I sometimes get pain and burning in my fingers in the middle of the night. The pain wakes me up or if I am up I cannot sleep. The Rheumy says its Carpel Tunnel and I need to get braces.

I wondered how many people here have both?

I think carpal tunnel is most clearly lack of nutrition to the joints

because every person I have recommended the Limu Plus to has gotten rid of

the pains from carpal tunnel.

Just my belief, from experience.

I had carpal tunnel long before I got RA and had surgery to correct it. I've now had RA for about 3-1/2 years and no return of the carpal tunnel. I think RA can cause inflammation that causes swelling and a restriction of the space available for the nerves and that can lead to carpal tunnel. Of course there are many other causes. God bless.

The inflammation from RA has definitely affected my tendons. When I

feel the Carpel Tunnel symptoms come on, I wear the drugstore-purchased

wrist brace for a day or so, to give my wrist a rest. It helps a lot;

the symptoms subside.
