Guest guest
LOL. Back when I was in hschool, the characters we read about in our German language textbook were always eating liver cake with strawberry beer: leberkuchen mit edbeer-bier. We'd all yell, "ewww!" Subject: Re: Warning LightsTo: IntuitiveEating_Support Date: Thursday, November 3, 2011, 12:28 AM That's exactly what I want for breakfast tomorrow morning; liver mold with three glasses of cranberry juice. Yum!

Guest guest
I really like the, " So what? " idea. I remind myself that it isn't any of my business what other people think of me, or, to put it another way, why should I care what some random stranger might think of me? There is no way I could possibly please all the people all the time, so why try? Of course, 's comment had to do with anger at others she assumed judged her, which is related but flip-flopped. My feeling is that anger eats US up when we hold it, which then causes us to eat up way more food than we want or need. Perhaps part of the answer is when instead of looking at all that is wrong or unfair in the world, I focus on what is right and what I have personally to be grateful for. Starting my day with a gratitude list puts me in a more positive frame of mind. The more I smile at others and wish them well, the more they respond in kind. I choose to show love, or at least that is my intention, although I'm sure I often fail. Jane
