Guest guest
, I want to ask if you know of any other foods that might be molecularly similar to: ragweed, birch, grasses (or of a source I could turn to). These are my major seasonal allergies, and I know I'm also having minor food allergies to things like melons (which you mentioned below), grapes occasionally, bananas, kiwi, and more. The dr. said those foods are molecularly similar to the airborne pollens I " m allergic to, and unless they're cooked, my body might recognize them and react. And I'm not cooking bananas! I tried cooking grapes, and they tasted like those grapes in that canned fruit cocktail mix we used to eat when I was a kid. I didn't react tho. Anyway, thinking it might make sense for me to stick to the restrictive diet concerning these types of foods, since my body's actually showing it on the outside! Is that like begging for help? Rie The foods to illiminate are, as Jenni said, Dairy, Wheat, Sugar, Red Meat, Alcohol, Caffiene, Salt and a few fruits that turn acidic in the body, Mellons and citrus fruit (except lemon and lime) (of course this means ALL PROCESSED FOOD) __________________________________ Mobile Take with you! Guest guest
No Rie I can't help you on this but now you've peeked my interest and I'll do a little research. All of the foods that you list as not being suitable for you are foods that aren't grown local to your area. Meaning they come from a different climate to what you live in. Perhaps you would benefit from reading Dr. Matsen's book, Eating Alive II where he writes about eating local foods for the area in which you live. He goes into great detail about why and it's very interesting. Easy to understand with his style of writing although he does go into some depth.
