Juicing has been this little Godsend for us, because my kids wouldn't eat anything -- and it's a great way to introduce foods to our bodies. I drink what they do, and I feel the effects as well. I nurse Sam, and he gets about 8 oz of juicer drink a day. (4oz in morning around 7, and then again around 4pm -- so it doesn't interfere with our nursing sessions.)I introduced kale/pears. Then I did, carrots/pears. Then it was fennel/pears. (In the Baby Whisperer (she's an English Nanny) she said she always introduces pears first. So I just did what she did. ) Then a couple of days ago I saw Maddie feeding Sam her juicer drink. I don't know how much he got, but he missed a feeding from me. -- And now, I just give him what the kids get. Sam didn't like rice cereal, and he hated just plain pureed pears (just acted like he was gagging). When I introduced the juicer drink, he was very excited...The one that he got from Maddie had beets, garlic, onion, kale, apple (golden del), pear, lemon, ginger, celery, carrots, fennel and a little parsley. He not only skipped a feeding from me, but he slept for 3 hours, and woke up happy. You have to wonder if cranky babies, are just not getting what they need... I use Klaire Labs Infant Probiotic. http://www.amazon.com/Klaire-Labs-Ther-Biotic-Infant-Formula/dp/B001PYXMV4The MB12 drops are raspberry flavored and are in my health food store's brand. It's just MB-12. I give him 5 drops in his mouth (they are supposed to go under his tongue..) I give him MB12 - because I am a known pernicious anemia case. When you are deficient in B12, and you are nursing, you need to be taking it to replace your stores, and add extra for your child. I also take (for myself) dessicated liver. (It was cheaper than buying it grassfed and organic!) I realized I was very low, got tested, and sure enough, I was iron, zinc, b12, etc. low, and it was due to some dental work I had done - as nitrous oxide depletes your stores. Since Jimmy and Maddie had issues, I figured, I would try to do it right with Sam...what a difference. I was also going to try CocoKefir (probiotic) as someone mentioned it was awesome. So, I am going to try that too. (for myself first, and then add it to all 3 kids supplements.) laura > > >> > > Does anyone know why a child might begin to have accidents after 6 weeks in > >diflucan?
