Seems they are more like the marketing research folks who want to know if

you've ever heard of a particular brand of motor oil, and then advise the

motor oil company to better get their product into your hands, than to

someone doing medical research.

It may be harmless, I've gone to one or two test group things, I've answered

questions for a number of political and product polls by phone (if I found

it interesting: some political polls are very interesting to participate in)

but I think I might be hesitant unless I knew it was anonymous if a personal

health issue of mine were involved: I don't want anyone gathering

information on my health status and then selling it to someone else to use

for marketing purposes.
