I did and as I was reading about my parent's generation's stage, it hit me - " How incredibly sad to lose your daughter because of your mental disorders. " In nada's case its the BPD or sociopathic stuff. . . In fada's its the enabling her poor, terrible, degrading behavior. How freaking sad for them to be in their mid-60s and have one child dead and another lost forever due to their choices and behavior. Wow, can you imagine that. T has said it to me before, but now I can suddenly feel it. Clearly they want it that way or else they would have changed their behavior.
