Guest guest
Tai, no problem with such postings, but if you are concerned that for others being grossed out, you can always post a 'disclaimer' in the Subject heading as a warning ;-) I consider the digestive process is a part of IE since its also a feedback for what we eat. I've probably had a change in my last stage digestive functions for a few years now. But its only been about the last year that I've been in a 'place' to pay attention and respond without the negative self depreciation that I would have done before I 'gained' IE. (ironic that gaining IE = possibly loosing excess body padding - lol). My having learned to accept and simply notice what my body had been telling me is all credited to IE. What I am in the process of self testing is how my body reacts to gluten. This is not an exact scientific testing, but I've already gotten enough feedback information to make my physical life more comfortable and pleasant. Great to hear that you too have been positively affected by IE. Keep up the wonderful efforts. ehugs, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > OK folks -- this might gross someone out so please be aware of this. I hope it does not gross anyone out but I thought it might be helpful for someone. Yes, there are amazing recognitions about our bodies' digestive processes when we pay attention to it. I have always had problems with constipation and often took various supplements (like bran, Metamucil, even an occasional laxative as I tend to try more natural remedies) to deal with it. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Since starting IE I have been learning to listen to my body signals, which I did not often do in the past. In fact, which I didn't do at all. When I feel the urge to move my bowels now, even feeling a fullness in the lower part of my colon, I go to the bathroom. Tonight I even made my companions wait while I went to the restaurant bathroom, something I never would have done in the past thinking I didn't want to keep others waiting for me. I don't wait and wait and wait any more. > It's been an interesting experience, AND I've stopped taking supplements, yet my movements have generally been OK, even on vacation. I don't go every day and I've come to accept that as normal for me. But since IE, and stopping my supplements, I've actually become more regular. :-) Tai >
