Guest guest
Hello to all I am also one of the all-time dieters who has read so many books on dieting, that I have a lot of knowledge on the subject. When one of my friends recommended Geneen Roth's 'Food, Women and God', of course I could not resist buying a copy. I enjoyed reading the book, and was totally amazed about the accurate way in which she decribed ME, and every other chronic dieter. I had trouble, though, trying to eat in the IE fashion, and joined this forum. I read through a lot of your correspondence, and someone (sorry, I'm new, don't know who it was), mentioned a retreat she was on. I searched the web, found the site, and ordered myself (another) book, which then happened to be May's Eat what you love, love what you eat. I got the e-book, as we live far from shops. THIS BOOK HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! The practical way in which she explains things, and all the truth about myself being explained the way she does, made me realise that IE is something that I really can do. I've never enjoyed eating, food and even shopping for food so much. To shop guilt free, eat guilt free and ENJOY my food so much is something that I have never done before. Best of all is that my husband has started implementing a lot of these things too, because it makes so much sense. I am inspired, thankful, and very very relieved. I always felt kind of cursed, because of my constant weight struggle. Its all gone. Great weekend to you all Helen
