Guest guest
Hi Group, I have a question that I would love some knowledgeable input for. I have had my right hand index finger to be swollen for about a year. Over the past few days it has almost doubled in size and looks terrible. It is painful upon usage, but not when I am not applying any pressure to it. I have not used prednisone in almost two years, but think to get this swelling down, I might have to resort to a short term dosage as I am scared of damage since it is so swollen and angry looking. Please offer any suggestions on short term prednisone usage that I might follow. I want to take a little as possible as my stomach does not like the prednisone. Natural remedies do not work for me. Thanks so much!
Guest guest
All I can tell you is that this is the first time in 3 years that I haven't had a flu shot and it's the first time in 3 years that I haven't been sick all winter. You be the judge. Dee

Consider some basics, without the issue of the (in)efficacy of the shots themselves... Most RA patients are treated with immune suppressing drugs. The flu *SHOT* bypasses all of what little is left of their immune system, i.e., histone reactions, digestive system, enzymes, etc., even the skin, and injects the irritant straight into the body... an immune compromised body. In a healthy person they are extremely questionable and there is heated debate about them with (IMO) zero scientific support but massive legislative support on the " do it " side versus massive scientific support but zero legislative support on the " no way " side. In the healthy person, there are " complications, " in the immune-compromised person those complications multiply by an order of magnitude Geoff soli Deo gloria http://www.healingyou.org/ NonRx herbals, homeopathics & supplements http://www.800-800-cruise.com/ Cruises, tours, resorts & luxury trains

Did you try a straight T4 treatment first? About 95% of us do well with that, and it is much cheaper than compounding. If you rule pure T4 out, then a little more T3 is called for. I can understand your caution about getting too much, though. The good news with T3 is that hyperT problems go away very quickly when you cut back on the dose. Just be prepared to skip or stop if hyperT problems start. Chuck
