Guest guest
I'm not actually a " funny book " reader,so the only one I could think of off the top of my head is " Auntie Mame " by Dennis about his escapades with his bon vivant aunt,if you can get it.Mind you,I read that when I was a teenager...but I remember that it made me laugh. The movie of the same name,in which Mame's signature line is " Live! Live! Live! Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death! " is funny too,but was tamed down a bit for the sensitive public and the book has some racier stuff in it. That's all I can think of! I'm wishing you all the best with your surgery... > > So yes, I got to thinking about my book choices for in the hospital... > really not a good idea. Guest guest
If you're into geeky stuff, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is pretty funny. There's also the standard comics that many libraries have--Zits, Baby Blues, Calvin and Hobbes--they always help me laugh, and they're downright easy for me to follow when I'm " out of it " after a surgery. I'll keep pondering today while I'm at work (at a library) Holly > > > So yes, I got to thinking about my book choices for in the hospital... > really not a good idea. Sparks who always makes me cry?
