Guest guest
This is great Kari....and I would pay more attention to the inch goal, which seems very healthy and reasonable and CUTE (hee hee)....but more than likely it will ALL come together at goal. What I would give for a 28 inch waist, sigh. Joya A Neat Comparison Okay, first I'd like to report the scale is being nice and says I'm at 192 this morning! WEEEEEEEEEEE DOGGIE! Then I got out my measurments book and have a neat comparison. In March thru April 1998, I was on low fat/Herbalife. I weighed in on April 10th and my stats were: 4/10/98 HerbalLife 3/20/01 Atkins GOAL Weight 185 192 160 Chest 43" 42" 40" Waist 33.5" 33" 28" Hips 42" 41" 38" So, although I WEIGHED less at 185, I am leaner now by 2.5 inches, yet weigh more by 7 pounds. I think I was in a size 16 back then... right now I'm a 14. Interesting? All water weight, Lyssa?? Give THAT to your friend Tyger and tell her to sit on it. So, even if I get to my measurement goal, I don't even think I'll be 160. If I get to 160, I'm sure those measurements will be MUCH lower. I wonder what my weight would actually be at those measurements, which to me are perfect for me??? It's only a couple inches or so off each measurement, except for waist... Guest guest
Kari: That is a very interesting set of statistics. I think when you go higher protein you become leaner and build muscle. You know that muscle weighs more than fat, so........... I would not worry about the number on the scale. Pay more attention to your measurements and how you feel. That is the best barometer. Keep up the good work! Warmly, Kari wrote: Okay, first I'd like to report the scale is being nice and says I'm at 192 this morning! WEEEEEEEEEEE DOGGIE! Well, I'm impressed that I'm really not all that far from my goal. My thighs are the fattest thing on me (besides my BUTT, but Rick likes that!*LOL*). The scale will not affect my thinking! Will Not! Guest guest
That is a very interesting set of statistics. I think when you go higher protein you become leaner and build muscle. Thanks, ! Yes, I know muscle weighs more than fat, so with the stats I sent in, obviously, when I was on low fat, I was fatter... but low fatters refuse to see that. Someone Lyssa knows thinks low carbing is just so terrible and that all we are losing is water, but I think the stats speak for themselves. You know what else? When I was doing low fat AND drinking water, I was ALWAYS retaining water and thus would weigh more, so I BARELY drank water at all... in that case, when I was truly dehydrated? *LOL* How you be, girl? You've been quiet lately... well, so have I anyway..*L* Update update! Kari
