Hi Rich, You sure do have a list of ailments there. I have all that you have also.

Is the one a goiter? I had a goiter back in the 70's, my Dr. was treating it as Thyroid !!! Kept upting my medicine for the thyroid and I just kept getting worse. In a six week time frame I had lost 47 #'s could not even swallow water, let alone med's anymore. I hadn't seen the doc for three weeks, I had called and told them my neck was swelling up so much, but they said that was to be expected, so I didn't get back in. On those last three days I had not swallowed much of anything, I was so hungry, finally I got back in to see the family Dr. he took one look at me and said, we're not fighting thyroid here, I do believe you have a very big Goiter!!! He couldn't believe how much weight I had lost in just six weeks. He called a specialist himself and I went straight to the specialist office and got right in, I didn't have to wait in the busy waiting room. That !

Dr, checked me and said there is one of two things we can do, as you will be dead within the next 24-48 hours if we don't do something drastic now. One I take a radioactive pill, or two immediate surgery. I opted for the pill. He brings out this great big canister with theses big fat rubberized gloves on his hands puts a pair of tongs in this now steaming container that he opened up. Picked up another small canister, opened it up then gave me a very small capsule to take from him to open up. I said not on your life !!!! You won't touch it but you expect me too !!!! Took some convincing that he didn't need the radioactive pill, I did. He even had on one of those big heavy aprons. It was very hard to get down, my throat was closing off due to the goiter being so big. It was in the afternoon and I had to go back and see him the next morning, as if the caps!

ule hadn't started to work I was going straight to the hospital he said. Thank- Goodnes it was already 1/3 smaller then it had been. Within three days it was almost back to normal.

Keep an eye out for other ailments to pop up. I have been real lucky and have 17 ailments now. You take care.

Hi rich,

I talked to nerys last night and she was telling me about you. I've never really heard anyone else (other than my mum) describe the pain I get so close. I really would love to talk to you, either via email or on if you can get on.

I've been diagnosed with ME and have had that for 6 years. Well, 6 and a half now I guess. Time goes so quickly. my gf, is also ill...she has chiari. She's so important to me and I love her more than anything. We really look after each other.

Anyway, take care of yourself and Nerys and I really hope we talk soon.

Regards

g'day

G'Day all from Tucson Az where the sun shines all day.And you shake

and bake every time you go for a walk to the car...I love it.Good for

the joints.the heat that is. I was talkin in the ealy morning hours to

one of our members and I told her what I use . And it really helps

alot. There is an ointment and patchs called Lidoderm. It is Lidocaine

like the stuff the dentist gives you. I use the ointment and then wrap

my arms or legs with ace bandages. It really helps alot. It doesn't

make your skin numb but works down deep.It is not hot or cold. I used

to get the patches when I lived in California and Michigan but here in

Az my ins wont pay for it but they pay for the ointment.Highly

recommend.Especially if you have fibromyalgia.I cannot say enough good

things about it. Highly recommend. Okay thats out of the way.. How

is the water situation going? lol Skye
