Hi Maggie...

I know where Altamonte is. I like that area. Kind of busy for me

though. I want to live out towards the quieter sections of Fl in my

old age. lol Which is now.

I'm not sure where we will be at. I really liked Winter Park and ate

at the " White Wolf " (is that the right name?) when we visited his

sister. It was a nice place.... I like that area but hear it's kind

of pricey. My first husband lived there eons ago when it was just

land.

I love Florida too. Before meeting , I lived in West Palm Beach

(1971) then came back to Ohio..mom was sick. I got married in 1990

and moved to St Pete for 5 years and then we moved to Coral Springs

by Lauderdale. We were there for 4 years and my dad was sick and I

moved home to take care of him. He passed in 2001 (my mom in 1981)

and I have never moved back since I got divorced. and I go

back every January/Feb to get out of the snow. It's never long enough

for me...good thing we have our pets or I won't come back. lol We

try to go to St pete for a week too. This year we went to Laud By

The Sea... UGH. I can't believe how busy with traffic it has

become. It was busy when I left but my gosh..it's now Crazy Busy!!

I won't be moving there.

Altamonte was too busy, now that I live in the country area I realize that lol. We moved to Montverde over a year ago and it's in the sticks...had to put up some wind chimes so that I could hear some noise! Used to hear nothing but traffic and sirens in Altamonte. It's nice out here. We have had a cold front and it's been in the 40s at nights and 60s in the day time. VERY nice weather where you can open up the house and get a nice breeze and even drink a hot chocolate.
