Tilley, WOW! That was great and thanks for sharing.  I sure understand that little voice in my head that says I had better eat fast before I feel full and have to stop. Sandy

....that feeling that " experienced " IEers have described, of wanting to stop eating in the the middle of a meal. I couldn't believe it! I had been hungry, and was really enjoying my meal, and then at one point I thought, " I'd better hurry and get this all down before I don't feel like eating anymore, " and instead of starting to shovel it in, I stopped to consider what I'd just thought, and realized that I wasn't hungry any more, and was in fact, quite satisfied, and the wanting to " eat it all " was residue for old ways of thinking, and not necessary at all. I stopped, with yummy yummy food still on my plate, and was done. Amazing! I hope it happens again.

Bravo Tilley! I can almost see the fireworks exploding about you - ha ha! This

is a great toe-in-the-door and will happen again because now you will be looking

for it (instead of waiting for it).

Thanks for sharing - this is sooooo inspiring and I bet others find their 'sweet

spot' too just by your example showing them its possible.

Wow, well just take the shame out of that one. Just tonight I was out eating

and the food was so great and I found myself rushing to beat the full point.

And, when I got full, I kept eating beyond full. But it was about trying to

outrun the diet police again. I'd made a rule about stopping and didn't realize

it. So, I'd stuffed that experience into my closet and then your post made me

realize that I don't have to be ashamed, I'd just made up a rule and the diet

rebel jumped in.

Woof. Thanks for that. Trying to outrun those diet police is hard work

sometimes...

Great step and learning experience Sandarah! Its wonderful to watch those old

'rules' fall over and die like tin ducks in a shooting gallery. Bulls eye!
