Guest guest
Wow, well just take the shame out of that one. Just tonight I was out eating and the food was so great and I found myself rushing to beat the full point. And, when I got full, I kept eating beyond full. But it was about trying to outrun the diet police again. I'd made a rule about stopping and didn't realize it. So, I'd stuffed that experience into my closet and then your post made me realize that I don't have to be ashamed, I'd just made up a rule and the diet rebel jumped in. Woof. Thanks for that. Trying to outrun those diet police is hard work sometimes... Sandarah > > ...that feeling that " experienced " IEers have described, of wanting to stop eating in the the middle of a meal. I couldn't believe it! I had been hungry, and was really enjoying my meal, and then at one point I thought, " I'd better hurry and get this all down before I don't feel like eating anymore, " and instead of starting to shovel it in, I stopped to consider what I'd just thought, and realized that I wasn't hungry any more, and was in fact, quite satisfied, and the wanting to " eat it all " was residue for old ways of thinking, and not necessary at all. I stopped, with yummy yummy food still on my plate, and was done. Amazing! I hope it happens again. > > Tilley >
Guest guest
Great step and learning experience Sandarah! Its wonderful to watch those old 'rules' fall over and die like tin ducks in a shooting gallery. Bulls eye! Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > Wow, well just take the shame out of that one.
