Guest guest
Tommy- I, too, have just started receiving daily emails of the postings, and I am also set for no email. If you find out how to fix it, please let me know. Although I enjoy monitoring the discussions of the group, I prefer to do it on my own and not have a mailbox full of discussion emails to sort thru before I can get to my " real mail " . Guest guest
Update** I got an email from the groups volunteer moderator. He said that the reason we are recieveing individual emails is due to them trying to " weed out " inactive email listings. He said that if you set your membership to " no email " selection, then it will resume back to no emai, unless you have another email account that is logged into this list group. For the gentleman that isnt even subscribed to the account, i would attempt to go under edit membership and try to unsubscribe (if you are not interested in this group) otherwise, also set it to no email or daily digest...what ever your preference. Hope this helps! Guest guest
So you mean there are more than 18 of us on this list? WOW! I just wish we could get more involvement from others so we can beat new and more exciting topics to death. Thanks to the moderators for weeding out the in-actives. I'd like to know how many people are really reading this banter. Tater " JULIE S. " wrote: Tommy- I, too, have just started receiving daily emails of the postings, and I am also set for no email. Guest guest
Berry, List as in list-serve. Right now there are 1509 members of this list. I have always found it amazing that there are about 20 " regular " posters on here, and a TON of lurkers. Surely those others have something valuable to say every once in a while. Guest guest
I love the list server. I love the discussion, the arguments, and the networking potential with influential people within the Texas EMS community. The problem is IT TAKES UP MY ENTIRE FREAKIN' DAY TO STAY ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!!! That is why I unsubscribed a year ago. Now I have been resubscribed (for reasons unbeknownst to me) and I'm addicted again. I have to unsubscribe now, otherwise I'll be here all day. Guest guest
, For you and all the other folks that still would like to participate yet don't have the time for individual emails, might I suggest going to the Daily Digest. That way you get a couple of emails with a list of all the topics and you can look at this email when you have time. Thanks Bernie Stafford EMTP _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Supervisor Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 2006 10:59 AM To: Subject: RE: Individual Postings I love the list server.
