What I learned about talking (from a most excellent book called How To Talk So You Child Will Listen (and Listen So Your Child Will Talk)--or something like that--was using " I " messages--things like " I feel.... " etc and also simply describing what you're seeing and hearing and feeling, because then the other person can hear what you're saying and not feel feel defensive. I really liked the idea in that article about your energy and intentions being in alignment....
