FINALLY SOME INFORMATION TO REALLY HELP FIBRO!

Not only fibro, but changing sleep habits can improve EVERYONE'S life, but since fibro is especially disabling, it is important for fibro patients to re-learn about sleep.

I am watching the best sleep documentary on public TV. This Dr. is called the sleep Dr. because he has saved marriages and saved lives by helping people change their sleep lives. He says he saved more marriages by being a sleep Dr. than by being a marriage counselor. His name is Dr. Breus.

Sleep science is a relatively new science, and N. America, UK and Australia have more fibro than the rest of the world. We are pushing ourselves harder and not taking care of ourselves. Not all countries have fibro.

YOU CAN CUT YOUR FIBRO SYMPTOMS IN HALF BY LEARNING THE RIGHT SLEEP HABITS FOR YOU, BECAUSE EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.

He thinks that fibro has now become an epidemic because of all the toxic chemicals in our atmosphere, because of our toxic unhealthy habits, and foods, things that grandma knew as common sense, but those words of wisdom have not been passed down in the past 3 generations (about 40 years), and because of the lack of sleep and sleep habits.

He says sleeping in late on the weekend makes things worse, because it throws off your body's cycle. Having a nap during the day is a better idea on your day off, instead of sleeping more. He does not say to get rid of the TV. Some actually need it to wind down, but he insists that it have a sleep button on it, so it will turn off 30 to 60 minutes after you try to go to sleep. He talks about mattresses and sheets and pillows that could change your life, and they are NOT the most expensive ones. He says to avoid polyester sheets. Every solution is very very cheap and easy and does not take much time. I am looking forward to changing my life with this! Its so true that the health habits our grandmothers knew has not been passed down because of broken families and both parents having to work so the kids just did not get to learn all that they needed to, and the parents were/are too exhausted to teach the kids everything they used to get taught. My heart goes out to you, my sweet for I lost my Dad in '03

and it was sooooooo hard! Losing a parent, oh, there are just no

words, the pain gets more tolerable but Never goes away. Just know

please, that I am here for you as are so here in your family!! I

thank you also for posting this message about this fine Dr. whom

really seems to understand what Fibro is about. I think she is

starting on the path that others doctors will hopefully follow. Yes,

Valerian root for keeping calm is great! Have you possibly tried

I have gone into the triad sleep for about 3 years now.. Meaning I

wake every 2 to 3 hours.. I never go into the REM.. or very rarely..

I have Fibro.. and a bunch of other problems with this earthly body..

at the moment.. and this just might be the ticket for better health..

Unfortunatly though, fibro can cause sleep disorders. I stopped sleeping when I got fibro. For two years I tried everything I could to sleep well. At best I was sleeping 2 hours a night and the fibro was the worst it had ever been. My doctor put me on a sleep med and I began to sleep about 6 hours a night and the fibro got a lot better. I don't like take these sleep meds but I wasn't able to get any sleep any other way. I tried everything in the first two years and without sleep I was getting really loopy.
