Hi, I posted these under subject Grist for the Mill (a saying from my

beloved, Ram Dass) but perhaps I should explain why i am posting them.

I am very close to opening a poetry web-site and Myspace is giving me

some feedback which is nice. I am wanting to know how a more totally

spiritually and spiritually diverse community such as ours here feels

about the work before the site opens (techie computer stuff being

worked out right now..glad I married one of those type guys..lol)

If you like it great if you really don't or have mixed emotions that

is still good feedback so I know how to approach the work.(sort of

moving towards publishing is the goal)The idea is healing through

putting life experience into lyrical type poetry..plus some occasional

fantasy for fun..most the stuff on my Myspace blogs is more serious to

be honest..all taken from my life.

most of you know me and I would be happy for your comments here or at

Myspace..

Holy Waters

Take this cup and drink

for it is bless-ed

the water is Holy

Like the Sea of Galilee

This drink God made Holy for thee

Enter the bath in holy awe

How lucky we are

to have warm baths everyday

Like the River Ganges this water is Holy

enter slowly

God drew this bath for you

Watch the steam rise slowly

it's Holy

It cooks your food

Like Christ in the Jordan River

it baptizes your dinners

it's been on earth for eternity

Walk into the ocean

the rivers and the lakes

They remove your worries, your pains

your pressure and your aches

Give thanks as you wade in

Say prays as it bathes your skin

Bless it from within

For all water is Holy, it's Sacred; God's gift to man.

A Moment To Love

So long ago

we had so little time

the air so cold the water so warm

a snowflake drifted down

landed on your perfect brow

You taught me chess

brought me a sandwich;

when there was so little food

a dark soul called me away

your memory's all that's left of you

Raven Lady

the deep twilight dusk

first i smelt the scent of musk

her pulling presence called out, I turned swiftly about

a dark winged raven with an indigo glow

And at that exact moment, time ceased to flow

I knew she had come for me and it was time to go

Her wings opened up with a learch

As she found a soft place on my shoulder to perch

" I know you " , I told her

As she whispered into my ear

a language I knew but knew not from where

And she told me secrets of my soul from long ago

and where we would be going

She brought back memories of lives I'd long for and once did know

My full length wooden oval mirror is where she flew next

She landed gently on the floor

The raven soon would be no more

as she stepped through the glass

she glowed with hair long past her waist

fiery, the most beautiful face

and her flowing robes

were be-jewled with fire and light and grace

she reached through the glass out to me with her hand

And I ran to her

like water the glass gave way and let me on the other

side in a world with three planets in orbit

green and indigo and blue

She said, " I have come back for you " .

We spoke with our minds

Shared stories with our hearts

things that before

were so hard to impart

came so easily here

with the raven lady

After awhile we laid down on some rocks

which gave way to become cushions

Tassled and so soft

and she held me in her arms

Union, Bliss, Oneness

And we soared through the heavens

and other planes and dimensions

The minotaurs walked by and welcomed me home

Shape shifting animals with eyes that glowed

and in swirling colors called out to say " Hello! again "

And as the evening settled in

Three large moons appeared above us

and a sprinkle of light purple crystal rain

lightly coated the planet's surface

Both below and Above

everything in this place was created and sustained in only love

and the raven spoke to me alone

and told me I would never have to leave home again

and reminded me my name had always been.. " Chalice Dove " .
