Dear Group,

Back on May 6, I sent a lengthy email to our Group with a link to an

outstanding article: " Soft Tissue Arthritis: Bursitis, Fibromyalgia;

Fybromytosis; Fibrositis; Rheumatism. " The URL is

http://www.arthritistrust.org/education/treatments/bursitis.htm

I was surprised that not a single person responded to my email or commented

on the article, which is full of relevant information for those of us who

have been told that we have RA. In fact we may not have RA at all, but may

be suffering from " soft-tissue arthritis " or Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS).

Or it may be that soft-tissue arthritis may be augmenting our RA, leading

to symptoms such as swelling and tingling. I am increasingly coming to the

realization that my symptoms are primarily those of bursitis an FMS, not RA.

What is interesting is that FMS is said to respond to Vitamins B6 and B16,

to mineral supplements (zinc, manganese, magnesium, copper, selenium), to

folic acid, niacin, and bromelain. Many other remedies are discussed in the

article. The article may be eye-opening for you and point you to a new

class of food supplements. Luckily, mineral supplements are inexpensive.

While it is lengthy, the article is very much worth printing out and

reading. Set your printer to landscape, or all lines will be truncated.

I will also resend my original email of May 6 with the heading Soft Tissue

Arthritis #1.

Sincerely, Harald
