Guest guest
I don't have it yet. I've really liked reading posts from folks who DO have it, but I just don't see how I'm going to get there. I went to a potluck last night, and ate way way too much of things that I knew wouldn't make me feel good, but I wanted them, so I ate them. Potato chips with onion dip, BBQ pork, ice cream.... I even stopped and asked myself if I really wanted them, did I really feel like eating.... My only consolation is that this morning, when I was considering what to pack to eat today at school, I most definitely didn't want anything with salt, and I wished that I hadn't put any salt in the chili I made over the weekend, and I actually wanted to take carrot sticks for one of my snacks (and I don't do that lightly, because Weight Watchers sort of ruined carrots for me). So I don't know. Maybe I need to reread some books.... Maybe I just need to be persistent in asking myself " am I hungry? " . " what do I want? " . " am I satisfied? " and to be mindful while I'm eating, which I definitely didn't do last night.... Arch Tilley
