Hi Judy,

Have you tried triphala? It's an ayurvedic remedy. I discovered

it doing research on the net. Dr. Weill also recommends it highly.

I've been using a product called Tierra's Tri-Cleanse from

Planetary Formulas with fantastic results. It contains triphala along

with a variety of hydrophilic fiber and carminatives. It's very easy

to take. I got it at Whole Foods or you can order it on line

http://www.iherb.com/in1.html. I went through several years of trying

everything: senna, cascara, magnesium, enemas, vit. c, psyllium,

multiple fiber tablets, fiber-rich vegetables, all with no result or

really bad side effects. I also have a fissure. It was so frustrating.

This is not like laxatives, which I don't tolerate well. It has

completely and gently regulated my bowels.

Good luck,

Lynne

Hi

Group,

I have a dx of Colonic Inertia which means hypomotility of the

colon.

My doctor suggest that I have surgery where the large intestine is

removed and the small intestine is rerouted to the rectum.

I have had chronic constipation for years now and nothing is working

for me.

I have tried almost everything and nothing seems to work.

What's left.....

Any suggestions?

Judy

I totally agree with Geoff on this one. I have personally found internal use

of aloe vera very effective in healing problems I had with my digestive

system. If you are interested in pursuing this further, make sure you find

out if the aloe you get is designed for internal use, meaning it has the

less desirable elements eliminated. If these elements are not eliminated,

they can actually cause the opposite effect.

Take good care,

deano
