mentor I met on an Internet group he ran for Diabetics. He not only

taught me about Diabetes when I was first diagnosed but also literally

saved my life wiht his knowledhge and system if adjusting insulin. I

stil use his carb counting program to day and it is such a good program

that flexes wiht my daily life and foods. He had a heart attack and died

in his sleep so at least it was quick and painless. But he left behind a

dear wife that cannto live alone as she was mentally debilitated from a

stroke about 7 years ago. Luckily his daughter was there visiting whne

this happened as I am not sure how his wife would have dealt wiht this

had she been there alone. They called me as they knwo Ron & I were

close friends and also because I could let his email group know about

his passing when they did not knwo how to cotact them. I miss him

already as we found we had much in common with computer interests and

hardware and even the books and movies we liked. He was only 71.
