Started Cytomel, when should I except some improvement?

Hi Val,

Started Cytomel only as you suggested and have made my way to 100mcg. Been on it

for 3-4 days. How long does it take for one to start feeling better?

I know I'being impatient. But I was hoping to lift a little of the brain fog.

Well it takes at least 4-6 WEEKS to lower T4 and thus RT3 and then

another 5-6 WEEKS for th Rt3 to weaken and flal out of the receptors so

PATiencE and going to higjh early on wil not rush it as Nick & I can

both attest to.

I don't know if anyone is around here, being New Year's Eve and all.

But anyway, I was curious with the ramping up of t3, since it can take several

weeks to feel well, how do we know what dose we should stay put at and wait it

out? I mean, will the temps even rise if the receptors are all blocked with rt3?

If a person gets to say,100 mcg t3, and isn't feeling much better or getting

normal temps, should they just stop raising and wait a bit until the receptors

clear??

I generally recommend 75mcg at abotu 6 weeksk thne goin gup SLOWLY from

there by 5mcg increments. SO that would put oyu at 100mcg at 12 week smark.

sublingually is stronger, or that it just hits you faster?

I am just wondering if 75 mcg swallowed is a lot less than taking 75 mcg

sublinqually.

swallow mine.
