Guest guest
Hi there, I've been on increasing dose of T3 for 5 weeks now and am at 45 mcg per day, 15 mcg first thing in the morning because I seem to need most then and then the rest pretty evenly spread out over the day. My temps are slowly rising, I'm now averaging 97.4. Two weeks into this I tried Nick's suggestion of last dose when my head hit the pillow. It took me a bit to get the courage to do it but was amazed at how well I slept -- 6 hours straight without waking, WOW! I haven't done that for 30 years! However, in the last week, I am sleeping worse than ever, waking every couple of hours and having a hard time getting back to sleep. Any thoughts as to what might be happening and what I might try next? Thanks much, Jeanne
Guest guest
Good morning, An update on yesterday's message, while waiting for Nick or Val to reply when they can... Last evening I slept a little better than the last two weeks. I woke up at only at 2 and 5 after taking 15 mcg T3 just before hitting the pillow This many weeks in (5) and at 45 mcg, might I be " chasing " the T3/T4 levels, as I read on the website? This means with the dose I took last night, I jumped to 60 mcg in one day (from 45), but it didn't increase heart rate or anything and I feel better. How much can I tinker with the increasing titration at this point? My naturopath had me increasing 1 mcg every other day, which has seemed very slow. Thanks, Jeanne > > Hi there, > > I've been on increasing dose of T3 for 5 weeks now and am at 45 mcg per day, 15 mcg first thing in the morning because I seem to need most then and then the rest pretty evenly spread out over the day.
