Is the 45 minutes to one hour for a particular size roast? a Re: cooking lesson - a -*- Main Dish Recipes -*- Caribbean Pork Roast from Ralph M.'s Kitchen Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 1 hour Serves: 8 Amount Ingredient -------- ----------------------------- 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper 1/2 tsp Nutmeg 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 2 lbs (900g) Boneless Pork Roast, trimmed of visible fat Preheat oven to 350F (180C) degrees. In a small bowl, blend olive oil, pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. Rub onto boneless pork roast. Place the roast in a shallow pan. Roast in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until internal temperature is 160F (71C) degrees. Remove the roast from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. corky wrote: Ok, guys I have a 3 lb. pork loin center cut roast. How do I cook it? See I forgot to clean my oven which has a lot of fat in the bottom of it as the last roast I cooked I had a piece of fat laying over the top and it moved and hung out of the pan. Anyway my automatic cleaner says it will be cleaning for three hours so I can't cook the roast today. Should I just freeze it for another time maybe?
