Guest guest
Nice. My food decisions are less of an issue for me as well; not every meal, every day but there's a nice sense of not needing to big deal shifts in my eating as my diet thinking and fear of food has diminished exponentially. thanks for the post; it's encouraging. > > I continue to read your posts, but have found I have less and less to say myself, as eating becomes less and less of an issue. I am going through massive stress surrounding ill family members right now, and yet am surprised to find that self-care has not gone out the window. I am crying often and yet am wearing make-up any day I'm going out, although now it requires waterproof mascara. Food has become a bit of a bother, in that it's just an annoyance to need to feed myself and my kids when I have no creative energy for cooking. Fortunately, with IE I am not worrying about it when a meal consists of Pop-Tarts they toast themselves and milk and I just eat whatever comes easily at hand. This morning I was surprised to see the plateau I had been on for weeks has passed and I suddenly dropped 3 more pounds. It's gotten colder here as fall progresses and I put on an outfit I hadn't worn in some time and was amazed at the more flattering drape, but I had noticed that one of my pairs of jeans now requires a belt or I look ridiculously sloppy in them. I have 3 more IE-type books from the library I want to finish, but have been frankly bored with them whenever I try to make progress in them. I think maybe I am finally becoming able to just live, without obsessing over food and eating all the time, and now my excess weight is coming off, albeit in fits and starts seemingly unrelated to my focus and efforts.
