I know Wilma, it's really awful. I was feeling so down earlier and disinflated like you said earlier but after reading some posts and getting your replies I feel so much better, suprisenly enough. This forum really gives me hope and so much more awareness. The parents on this board have already jumped this hurdle and have recovered children and I hope you I and the rest of this panel make the same leaps to recovery!! I'd like to think that my son is at 75% close to recovery...and hopefully we could all get past this journey. How's your child and what's their age? God bless you as well!!!

Irma,I know how u feel. Nothing seems 2 work here either. I feel deflated. We are their (our children's) last line of defense, so we need to keep plodding along though. My thoughts r with u. It really stinks though. I know. I have u in my thoughst.Wilma

I've done so much Cheryl in the past 2 1/2 years...from Gluthadione Transdermal creams, Enhansa, B12 shots, probiotics, GF/CF diet since he was 18 months. To vitamins: TMG, Taurine, Miscellized A, D3, zinc, Vegan Protein powder, cod liver oil, omega, Houston Enzymes, B6, DMG, viamin E, Calcium, methyl-Folate, Coq10, L-Carnitine L-Carnitine Acetyl....3 rounds of Vancomycin for his Clostridia, Difflucan, ValtrexTo 40 dives of HBOT, Hippo-Therapy, hours of OT, Speech Therapy 20 hours of weekly private ABA sessions, Special Pre-K.I mean some symptoms have improved like he no longer touches his ears, spins toys, ignores us entirely, stopped the major flapping....but he still stares off for 2 minutes, does some vocal stims, still echolalic, runs walks on his toes, has that flighty eye contact

and

doesn't speak in sentences or know how to express himself yet, oh and the dreadful potty training has been such a flop! Not sure what to do at this point, I'm very desperate and feel so lost. My next step is trying the GAP's diet, it seems to target most underlying problems like Clostridia, Yeast, Fungus...maybe I'll restart Valtrex with Difflucan again???I also bought Dr. Goldbergs, book on the " Myth on Autism " , can't help but think about Marcia Hinds inspirational recovery story...I wonder how is she these days.Anyways, so sorry for the horrendous book I'm sending, but it's just pure madness, and I've lost my enthusiasm, feel a bit depressed and tired of the fanatical truly expensive Biomedical Protocals. I try to stay positive, but it can be deteriating. I admire your focus wisdom and wish I to could say I have a recovered kid and have the honor to help parents on this forum like

you, God bless you Cheryl and all the wonderful parents on this forum!!!!

The toe walking is not in his feet and the eye problems arent in his eyes. It's symptoms of a bigger picture. I think thats where so many get lost. They try to break it down into treating each symptom rather than treating the overall body.

Your child most likely needs biomedical intervention to address the underlying causes. Virus, Vitamin Deficiency, Mineral Deficiency, Strep, Parasites, Metals... all possiblities.

Eye contact improved here with a combination ofNordic Naturals cod liver oil +DHerbalFactors - Olive leaf extractEnzymatic - ResveratrolNatural Factors - BromelainTurmeric (not enhansa, just organic non-irradiate turmeric) that way you get the full form of the root. Nutribiotic - Grapefruit seed extractEasy Bones - calcium/magnesiumUltimate Flora - 50 billion cell probioticWe also used Paragone to treat for a tapeworm.Regular bowel movements also helped. The key for us was reducing inflammation. The first five supplements I listed have anti-inflammatory properties. Now he only avoids eye contact when he is anxious or nervous or overwhelmed with sensory issues.Hope this helps.Irma,I know how u feel.
