I give my 3 year old son a multivitamin 2x a day with 200 mg of magnesium in it AND one Thorne Research Magnesium Citrate 140 mg, so total 340mg a day. That works for my son.

My aunt has always been constipated and tried everything. I bought her the magnesium and told her to take it 2x a day and she hasn't been constipated since, that was 2 months ago, now she hates doctors. :-) She has been to specialists and nothing has worked.

Good luck!
