I'm fine.. was just a little stiff yesterday... I still can't believe I

fell off the toilet.. with my pants down yet to boot!

Is that how he died?.. I can't remember.. it's been so long.. and my

memory tends to leak right out my head.. I do remember something

about drugs and such.. just told it had something to do with a

toilet..

I've only had two falls in the bathroom.. first one I put the tp holder

through the wall.. fortunately there were some dirty clothes on the

floor and a bag of trash that needed to be taken out..that were sitting

on the floor to break my fall.. LOL

I don't get in the tub unless there's someone home to help me in and out

if need be.. so far (knock on wood).. no accidents there.. But all I can

picture is the fire department rescue squad along with the ambulance

crew radioing back for more help.. cause they have a nekkid beached

whale stuck in the bathroom!! LOL.. at least would be able to get

me covered in some manner before they arrived.. If he wasn't home, I'm

not sure anybody would get through the door either.. without first

having to call animal control to do something with my boys.. Butter

would tear them up, I'm afraid.. and he's not a vicious dog.. but when

it comes to " mom " .. " dad " can't even think about playing at hitting me..

WOW!!! I really feel for you.. I remember breaking my ankle.. and the

pain I was in with that.. I'm sure your pain was worse.. that's an

extremely hard bone to break.. from what I've read anyway... and quite

painful..

The first month and a half was extremely painful. than the pain was more tolerable. I went to rehab for 2 months. the fall happene oct 1. came out of rehab dec 9.

I had broken my ankle in '97.

Now my chair is in the shop, and it is very hard to do things with the rental, My hip is bothering me.

Do you happen to notice when you're watching a movie or television

show.. and you get to hear the actual breaking of a bone in that show..

for some reason I get a sudden pain in my ankle.. do you feel that pain too?

I feel for you girl.. At least when I broke my ankle, the doctor's in

Connecticut weren't overly afraid or concerned about possible addiction

to pain meds..

My cousin said I laid on the couch and babbled... I don't remember

babbling.. I don't remember much about those first few days.. I do

remember her popping the clutch in the car, and feeling the bones

separate in my leg & ankle.. then reaching for the bottle of pain meds!..

Hope you're all recovered now with no lasting effects from your tumble

though

Oh, my goodness. ann! I'm always scared of something like this

happening - falling in the tub or whatever - and having to be rescued

nekkid, because Himself is a First Responder in the fire dept and I KNOW

EVERYBODY WHO WOULD COME RESCUE ME AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!! :-P

I don't know, I might just lie there until the cats ate me....

The morphne must have helpped being nekkid as well as the pain didn'r seem that bad. Actually, the pain stopped when I heard the bone break. yes it was a comfort seeing that I didn't know any of the EMS. I would have passed out. They did put a nearby blanket over me/0

yes i got my wheels back ! YAHOO! Nothing like returning home after neing away!

Yes, I get a lot of twinges in my leg just thinking about things. i EVEN FEEL IT WATCHING A BOWLING GAME.

They tell me I need a good 4-6 months to heal. half way there.

Yes, I get a lot of twinges in my leg just thinking about things. i EVEN FEEL IT WATCHING A BOWLING GAME.

They tell me I need a good 4-6 months to heal. half way there.

ann,Do you happen to notice when you're watching a movie or television show.. and you get to hear the actual breaking of a bone in that show.. for some reason I get a sudden pain in my ankle.. do you feel that pain too?I feel for you girl.. At least when I broke my ankle, the doctor's in Connecticut weren't overly afraid or concerned about possible addiction to pain meds..My cousin said I laid on the couch and babbled... I don't remember babbling.. I don't remember much about those first few days.. I do remember her popping the clutch in the car, and feeling the bones separate in my leg & ankle.. then reaching for the bottle of pain meds!..Hope you're all recovered now with no lasting effects from your tumble thoughHUGS
