And I was going off of what I saw behavior-wise and what my books all said were symptoms. 2 of his symptoms MATCHED lab work --Low secretory IgA and " NG " no growth on Lactobacillus (after ALL the Kefir and Probiotics I've done). However his stool lab said " No Ova or Parasites " but I am reading that these tests are MOSTLY always faulty. The other symptoms were just the behavior things that were lining up with what I was reading. He has a toy (Leap Frog) that he has been grabbing and verbally stimming over it for months and will do it immediately and for 2 hours if I let him. Yesterday he had this toy while a cartoon was on and he first brought me a book and said " read it " and then brought me a coloring book and said " colors " . NEVER would he do this if he has this toy or a cartoon as an option. Guest guest Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 , we got the same results from our CDSA from Great Plains. Low Secretory IgA, but no ova or parasites. Do you have any recent bloodwork? Elevated Eosinophils are a good indicator of allergic states in the body, but they are ALSO indicated in a parasitic infection. My son's was twice the highest level, and that prompted his doctor to request a stool sample they could look at under the microscope. Lo and behold, tapeworm, pinworm and Giardia, all three in that one small stool sample. We've been doing great on the low ox diet, but after starting parasite treatment, he's just gotten so much better. We got his progress report from preschool the other day. In every category that is age appropriate, he received " developing normally " . This is just a regular preschool, no assistance. Needless to say, we are pretty excited about the changes in him. Last year at this time we had to pull him out of school it was so bad. I really believe the oxalates and the parasites are just so toxic to their little bodies that they deserve as much attention as we give to yeast and bacteria. We'll be doing Rx meds again in addition to the herbals. Hope this gives you the incentive to start poop patrol LOL! She said Paranil Jr is not targeted as a parasite cleanse and I should call my doctor for advice on parasite cleanse. Hmmm. So there are folks that use Paranil Jr for parasites? I've been doing it first thing in the morning and then the Black Walnut & Wormwood Complex at lunch and dinner (because it contains Clove). All the things in the Paranil are ALSO listed in my book 'Nutritional Healing' under the " worms " section. I guess I am a bit of a rebel and don't feel like I need to consult the doc on every little thing especially after reading and researching side effects and doses on herbal treatments. I implemented a LOT of herbal remedies before I ever saw our DAN! doc one time and I left with NO new supplements.
