Low ferritin > symotmos aer nearly identical to lwo cortils and in fact may CAUSE low > cortils symtpomos when you add in T3. I woudl attempt to lower the pred > some take lots of iron and SLOWLY push the T3 onwrd. Good T3 levels do > nOT cause high BP. I am VERY prone ot high BP and with FT3 at 620 my BP > is perfect. > Thanks Val I hadn't really thought of that cos had a virus earlier in the week and it felt like an adrenal crash so have taken more recently cos of this plus thought it might help with the T3 but obviously something is pushing my bp up and I feel very vascular. I also had some high bp symptoms before the virus though. Normally I take 2.5mg Pred on waking, do you suggest I take say 2 mg with 12.5 T3 and no extra h/c and see how things go? When I am due to take my next 12.5 T3 around 1 pm should I take say 1 mg Pred and see what happens? Very grateful for you help cos I do feel that the T3 is going to be better for me if I can sort out the dose of steroid. Currently taking 325mg ferrous sulphate for 3 weeks and am seeing my GP on Wednesday to request a blood test so will continue on this dose till I get the result and will post.
