LEF ORg is a pretty big organization and a very legally run one and thye still do it. Guest guest
I am almost certain directlabs.com offers this test still. A friend of mine went to my doctor. Doctor would not run RT3 labs (nor frees!!!??) saying insurance wont pay for it, PLUS she has no idea how to interpret it (eye roll). Meanwhile same doc did RT3 and Frees for me.... Luckily you all know how to interpret it. It is crazy how tough it is too get tests sometimes!!! Bonnie > > I just want to throw this out to see if anyone knows where to find information about this new law. I got a message from Janie (sttm) that we can no longer legally order RT3 in the US without a doctor's prescription and the results have to be sent to our docs. She also said that one of the antibodies tests is also illegal. Anyone know anything about this? She sent me a link to one of the labs and that is what it says. I just ordered a battery of tests and know for sure that two of our sources still will do them, but Janie says they are just ignoring the law. > I am pretty angry about this. A teenager can get prescriptions and even kill her unborn child thru surgury without the parent's knowledge, but I can not order and pay for any lab I want done to help myself stay healthy??? > Janie could not tell me where to find references about the law, so any input from this forum where to start looking. I intend to get on my soapbox about this as soon as I can find it in writing. Unacceptable! >
Guest guest
OK, WHEW!!! Experimental or not, if the test can be done from a vial of blood and the patient is willing to pay whatever the cost is, I just could not see why the federal government thought they had to make it illegal! I was ready to start a letter writing campaign, because the only reason for this would be the government is in bed with the drug companies that do NOT want us to get well. Guess I can kick the soapbox back under the bed until it's really needed. Thanks so much for the fast response. I now have found 3 labs that still do the tests, so I am not going to worry....for now. > > The onyl 0place I have heard this si THE ONE lab that has this on it;s > site,.
