The pros and cons of past life experiences

After yesterday's posts, I pondered on this last night and concluded this- If we are fortunate enough to realize our past lives, even a single one, this helps us greatly to better understand who we are now. It explains many of our hobbies, our interests, and the way we carry ourself in general everyday. It is a gift to be able to look back to help see how and why we are and act/think like we do in this life. By knowing our yesterday, we can better focus on tomorrows footsteps. The downside to this would be the evil gray blob of doom... the human mind. It has the ability to trick us so easily and we do not even know it did it. We get bits and pieces of a past life but there may be some puzzle pieces missing, and in this case, imagination can come into play to fill it in and we have convinced ourself that this is actual truth when in fact, it is a mind trick. We have pieces we know without a doubt are/were our pasts, then it gets blended with fiction

which "fits in like a glove" then all we have done is made a mess. Care must be used when searching for clues about our pasts. What pieces come on their own will undoubtably be true. If we have to stop and ponder, even for a moment, we are most likely generating imagination. Another caution would be that even if we are totally certain of a past situation, we must not relive it or try to hang on. It was a time now passed. It is lessons and answers but not much more. If we but effort and focus into this deeply, we will forget where we are going, being wrapped up in where we have been. Compassion To

All, Randy
