Guest guest
I do understand your epiphany. Mine came when I realised that my dieting was as much about punishing myself as my overeating was - and both were punishment for something that was not my fault. x
Guest guest
, I too have self-punishment mixed in there around diet issues but lots of other history that impinge as well. It's impossible to sort out what all is what though, and for me right now the emphasis is on how diet mentality has impacted my weight. And, even though a lot of my food issues revolve around Mom, she was a life-long dieter too. But yeah, in the past though not so much recently as far as I can tell, I've eaten at times with a " shut up you little brat " energy around eating. Sandarah > > I do understand your epiphany.
