Guest guest
I hear ya, mama. Maybe someday we'll be able to hang it all up. But you know us...... ; ) No matter how much some of us may disagree from time to time, our one commonality is that we love our children and would move heaven and earth to help them. Everybody here has been through so much. Ignored by doctors, chastised by family and friends because of the diet, taken advantage of by money thirsty bottom feeders. Poisoned by vaccs and food and the enviornment, gone broke trying to do whatever it takes. Some have had marriages fall apart. It takes its toll. After a while, it feels like the whole damn world is out to get you and your child. You don't know who/what to believe anymore. Many here have peds who are light years away from catching up and learning what has become common knowledge in this circle. It's shocking to learn how much your doc really doesn't know. It makes it so hard sometimes to know when to take their advice and when to leave it at the door. Every child is so different. What works for one, may be devastating to the next. It's sad. I hope and pray our children's children don't have to live like this. -tammy To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sat, March 5, 2011 10:20:50 PMSubject: Re: Strep... Guest guest
Do you buy the transdermal mag chloride or make it? thanks Re: Strep... The most easily fixed condition would be iodine deficiency. Which has a way of fixing the others. For those with a mostly healthy body adding a drop or 2 of Lugols 2%iodine daily is enough to stop the bugs. This type of person gets the occassional cold or flu and even strep and elminates it. Enough iodine and they dont get it. Just passes thru their body without symptoms cause it's killed and removed efficiently. For those with severe Iodine deficiency and Thyroid disorder, autism(?) all with a resulting cascade of symptoms they will need more. The lack of iodine contributes to being unable to remove the bugs, Getting sick from all the bugs, AND keeping the bugs in growing numbers creating a newer wider variety of symptoms and deficiencies. To stop that, To create a body that works how it's suppose to, or the environement where pathogens dont thrive seems to require iodine not being obtained from food sources. And you are right, the longer the body is messed up the worse it becomes. All you have to do is look around at those around you (or am i the only one that sees sick people everywhere?) or check statistics. There are very few healthy people. The progression of so called age related illness, the obesity, the cancers, the zillions of auto immune disorders are all testimony that something is terribly wrong within our health care system. I could write another book on that so i will just say, What seems to be working for me and mine is: Lugols 2% Iodine,Transdermal Magnesium Chloride,Magnesium Malate, Se, D3, B2, Niacin, Hymalayan pink salt, Tyrosine, Coconut Oil, Enzymes, Natural Thyroid (me), Vit C (Buffered and Liposomal), Inositol and lots of water and good food. I think the Low Oxalate Diet would probably help anyone. As well as avoiding/limiting goitrogen foods. I have only recently been trying to limit oxalate. Didnt get how important it was until a few weeks ago. I havent had a potato in a week (and i pretty much ate them daily). If you arent familiar with the diet, it seems to effect the availablility of iodine. Among other things. Oxalate is like a halide that displaces iodine. Oxalate is almost sounding as bad as worms! Try to eliminate or limit red meat, find a good chicken source. I find it the easiest protein source to create a variety of menus. Use good oils. Use lots of natural salt to cook.Garlic. Limit milk or change to a non milk non soy source. Some people say raw milk or goats milk is good. This is where enzymes help. I havent done many Probiotics mostly cause when i looked into them in the past the decent ones required overnight air to me since i am in the booonies so hadnt used them. Reading alot of the posts here lately makes me think they have gotten better at making them so might try again. I tried Kefir and it was fun to grow but i couldnt drink the stuff and wouldnt get near it. Plain or anything i mixed it with and he would not eat it. He actually took my kefir jar from the fridge and hid it once (almost killing them!) he was that freaked out by it. Lots of people swear by it tho. Eliminating sugar is one of the most recommended things. I tend to eat sugar. eats sugar. I am bad. I like icecream. Brownies occasionaly. I would never eat fake sugar. Stevia (the real stuff not the fake processed stuff) is very good for sugar substitution and i think there is anti viral properties as well. So if you can eliminate sugar all the way you are better at it than me and you will all be healthier for it! Eliminating some, if not all sugar, still has benefit. Thats what i try to do. I tend to pick my battles differently than some. Sunshine. I am a firm believer that a minimum 20 minutes of sunshine should be on everyones must do list of each day. We should be ingraining this habit in our children. If you happen to live in a place that doesnt have sun most its days (like me) then D3 is a must. Or the right sunlamps Or a mass exodus to Sunnier climates. I think my Black Walnut Hulls and Wormwood are going to be here today so I plan to try those. And Chrissys formula I think we all probably have more parasites than we want to imagine. The biomed that you have been using and you feel is working should be continued. It may only need a little tweaking to ensure enough of the Mag and C and Natural Salt. It may need more tweaking as the body heals. Additional things (MB12, Valtrex, LDN, a few others) may be considered for some to correct deficiency, eliminate high viral loads, speed healing. So thats what i think and thats what i do and it may or may not work for you, it's worth a try. Guest guest
Cheryl,I have to agree with you. I admit that i never believed in natural healing. I was working in health care and used modern medicine. I was a firm believer, even after my son's diagnosis and severe health issues that they still can not figure out. It took me years and complete desperation to try out natural medicine. At last I am getting better at helping my kids and myself naturally while balancing with modern medicine when it seem to needed. I am too saddened that people getting rich on my child's condition and others as well.God gives cure for everything and it is right under our fingertip we just have to reach out, and than there are times when we have to go and get some chemicals to get better. I think as long as we keep it in balance we out to be ok. Tunde  You said 100%, I said most, which doesnt mean all. I dont have a bitterness toward doctors, i just know for the most part they dont have a clue. It's not bitterness. Its just a scary fact. And people follow these doctors' advice when they really ought not to. There are good doctors to be found. Natural docs seem to be good. Alot of the Dans! are good. I also feel if people were taught from an early age to manage their own health there wouldnt be this dependency on doctors to be healthy. I dont even have bitterness to big Pharma. Just sadness. It is making people live chronically sick lives, be forever in deep debt. It is destroying the humans and it makes me sad. I wasnt asking you to defend your friend's detox protocol. I was trying to help. Possibly offer a reason. A solution for her or others with similiar experience. Sorry you felt differently. Cheryl > > I understand the bitterness towards Dr.'s, big pharma. I get it. I I have my very own stories about it. > But just like iodine alone won't 'fix' 100%, 100% of Dr.'s are not all evil. > I have a PANDAS Dr. I do trust him. No, I don't have a money tree in my backyard. Nor do I care to defend my friends detox protocol, where she is at, exactly what she did. > I'm just stating an opinion. It has nothing to do with you. It had to do with PANDAS treatment. > I am glad you have found healing. Truly I am. > Best wishes, > -- " Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
